The Province is considering banning snow machining in Woodland Caribou Park and that has a number of Red Lake residents up in arms.
Brian Krevianzuk is leading a campaign to convince the MNR to allow the winter activity to continue.
He says the support is out there with over 100 people using the 750,000 hectare area on a seasonal basis.
The Province is asking Red Lake area residents to fill out a questionnaire which will be included in a master plan on the future of Woodland Park.
Officials say wolves use the trails to stalk and kill caribou.
