Province Enhancing Mental Health Services

Local Health Integration Networks, including the Northwest LHIN, are receiving more money to improve mental health and addiction services.
A total of $28-million is being spent on initiatives that provide care closer to home for people who are experiencing mental health and addictions challenges.
The province is also creating a registry of mental health beds to help those experiencing a crisis.
$2-million is being allocated for programs here at home.
