Province Granted Intervenor Status

The Provincial Government has been granted intervenor status to
participate in injunction proceedings between the KI First Nation in
Northwestern Ontario and Platinex.
The Mininstry of Northern Development and Mines will now formally
take part in court hearings and work on a resolution to end the bitter
mining disputed.
Meanwhile, a court injunction has halted mining activity on the
traditional land.
