Province Investing In Treatment Centres

The provincial government says it wants to reduce wait times at Ontario’s children’s treatment centres.
It’s providing $5-million annually, plus an extra $1.25-million in one time funding to the province’s 20 facilities.
Children’s Services Minister Tracy MacCharles says ongoing concerns about access helped lead to the extra money.
MacCharles says the funding will help centres make plans and improve services.
About half a million dollars is being earmarked to three centres in the north.
