Premier Kathleen Wynne agrees there is some urgency to get lumber mills back up and running in northern Ontario.
Speaking at the Northern leaders forum, Wynne says there are new opportunities that Ontario can take advantage, and the government will do it’s part.
Wynne notes that the provincial government is only part of the equation though.
Natural Resources Minister David Orazietti says they want to see as many people as possible back to work in the forestry industry.
