A reminder that ice conditions might not be quite ready for snowmobiles.
Over the weekend, two sledders near Lac Du Bonnet in eastern Manitoba spent the night in the bush after going through the ice.
The RCMP says the men, aged 22 and 29, went for a ride Saturday afternoon.
After they failed to return, a search was started.
The Lee River Snow Riders and other emergency response personnel began looking for the two men Sunday morning.
The were finally located near Bird River around 9:00.
Police say one of the sleds broke down, and when the two men went to seek shelter, they fell through the ice.
The have been taken to hospital and are listed in stable condition.
