Province Looking at Mandatory Health Programs

The Northwestern Health Unit says it’s about time!
Ontario’s Ministry of Health has decided to review its mandatory
programs and to bring current programs and services up to date.
The Province will be working with Health Units to improve compliance
rates and to put more of an emphasis on health promotion.
Local officials say the revision is badly needed and they will work
with the Government to ensure an effective plan is drafted.
