Province Mismanaging Trees

A leading conservation group has released a report stating the
province is using flawed data to determine how many trees should be
harvested.
The Wildlands League states that many unsubstantiated assumptions are
being fed into the Strategic Forest Management Model.
Spokesperson Dave Pearse says more money needs to flow into research.
Several Northwestern Ontario forest management units were included in
the study.
