Province Moves To Put Nurse Practitioners In Long-Term Care Homes

The Ontario government is providing funding for the hiring of 75-nurse practitioners for long-term care homes.

The program will be phased in over three years, with 30-starting work this fall.

Their primary duties will be to serve as an on-site primary care provider for patients, working as part of a team of other healthcare professionals.
