Hospitals across northwestern Ontario are receiving some extra cash to help improve access to care and reduce patient wait times.
More than $2.8-million is being shared among the region’s 11 hospitals.
The Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre in Sioux Lookout is getting more than $310,000.
The Dryden Regional Health Centre will receive nearly $184,000, while the Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital in Red Lake is welcoming almost $64,000.
