Province Spends More Money on Eye Van

The CNIB Eye Van will undergo upgrades thanks to the Provincial Government.
The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund is providing $113,000 dollars towards the van’s medical equipment.
The money will be used to purchase new lasers and surgical instruments that will result in better treatment and care.
The van provides vision screening and performs minor surgery in small Northern communities where local services are not available.
