Provincial Funding For Sioux Lookout

Sioux Lookout has received provincial funding for the realignment of Wellington Street at Fifth Avenue.
The municipality will see $657,000 to support new commercial development lots in the area.
The work is expected to create 15-construction jobs.
The community is also receiving $50,000 to study the creation of a Regional Distribution Centre to meet supply needs of its Far North customers and another $50,000 to develop a five-year economic development strategy.
