Open Air Pile Burning Now Prohibited

A reminder open air pile burning is now prohibited in Dryden.
Campfires and outdoor fireplaces are allowed without a permit but must follow regulations.
However, incinerator permits are required.
The Machin Fire Service says if you are found responsible for causing a forest fire, you can be charged.
If caught you can be fined, jailed or pay for putting the fire out.
