The Ontario government intends to move ahead on a pilot project around a basic income program.
It would provide funding to people or families to ensure they reach a minimum income level.
The province took the idea to the public where more than 35-thousand people shared thoughts on how it should be designed and where it should be tried.
The government says it will introduce its plan based on that input later this spring.
