Public Board Still Waiting on Word on Trustee

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is hoping to hear soon if it will be able to elect an extra trustee this year.
Trustees made a formal request in a letter to the Minister of Education.
Dean Carrie is the acting Chief Executive Officer and says due to the addition of schools in Upsala, Savant and Pickle Lake, an argument can be made for increased representation.
The public school board is hoping to elect 10-trustees in the October election.
