Public Elementary Schools Will Be Closed On Friday

All public elementary schools within the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board will be closed this Friday.
The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario has announced they are holding a one-day political protest, aimed at the Liberal government for imposing two-year contracts.
Director of Education Jack McMaster says they have decided to close the schools to ensure student safety.
Day care programs run by the schools and operated by a third party will run as usual.
Before and after schools programs have been cancelled for January 11.
All schools will re-open on Monday, January 14.
