Public Help Needed To Catch Poacher

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is looking for public assistance to find the person responsible for shooting and abandoning a moose north of Sioux Lookout.

Conservation officers were contacted on Sunday of an antlerless bull moose found dead on a remote road. (Kilometre 8 of A. Bois Road)

Officers believe the animal was killed sometime in late November or early December.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ministry at 1-877-847-7667 or 737-1140 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
