Public Meeting Tonight To Discuss Fire Hall Plans

An open meeting is being held Tuesday night at 6:30 at the Centre in Dryden to discuss the possible closure of the Barclay Fire Hall.

City staff will first comment on the proposal as well as recent developments.

The public will then be given the chance to voice their concerns or support.

The City is now looking at delaying the closure due to some unanswered questions surrounding insurance and the possibility of other operating models that may be available.

Chief Administrative Officer Ernie Remillard is asking Council for more time to complete a full review of the Dryden Fire Service.
