A five-member panel has been named to look at the expansion of provincial ridings in northern Ontario.
The Far North Electoral Boundaries Commission will review the ridings of Kenora-Rainy River and Timmins-James Bay with the intent of creating as many as two additional ridings.
It will be headed by Justice Joyce Pelletier, a judge out of Thunder Bay, who is originally from the Fort William First Nation.
The panel is expected to make a recommendation to the Attorney General by August 1st.
