The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is holding its first ever Recruitment Fair Thursday.
It will take place at Sioux Mountain Public School in Sioux Lookout from 3pm to 8pm.
Superintendent of Human Resources Joan Kantola says they are looking to hire for all employee groups, including casual, qualified and un-qualified at all of its schools.
Kantola notes the Board experienced a spike in elementary enrolment for the 2017-2018 year, which means they need to hire more teaching staff.
She says they are also looking for additional caretakers, occasional teachers, librarians and administrative assistants.
