Public School Board Holds First Meeting

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is excited about the new school year.
Trustees held their first meeting of the year at Dryden High School yesterday.
Officials say teachers are focused on improving student achievement and assisting students at risk.
Director of Education Sean Monteith says there’s a sense of enthusiasm among teachers and staff this year.
He notes students are also benefiting from new programs and facility upgrades.
