The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board says there will be a heavy emphasis the next couple of months on bridging the gap between so-called `have not` and `having` students.
Director of Education Sean Monteith says the main focus will be on aboriginal and non-aboriginal students.
You will also hear a lot about 21st Century Learning for the rest of the school year.
Monteith says it’s not just about technology.
He stresses it`s about responding to a critical view, engaging in healthy debate and respecting opinions.
Monteith says they want to become an Ontario leader in 21st Century Learning.
