Area residents also selected Public School Board Trustees in
Monday’s Municipal Elections.
In Dryden, Ed Arnold held on to his seat by edging James Black by 84
votes.
Greg Wagar was not far behind in third spot.
In Machin, Wabigoon, Oxdrift and unorganized areas, Barb Gauthier held on to
defeat Richard Wetalainen 781 to 505.
In Kenora, Eleanor MacDonnell, Cecile Marcino, and Grant Erickson were elected.
Dave Penny, Bob O’Donohue, Gerald Kleist and Dianne Sidders were
acclaimed.
