The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board hopes to have some architectural drawings of a new high school in Sioux Lookout ready early in the new year.
Director of Education Sean Monteith says they’ve done a lot of consulting on the project so far and look forward to some of the designs the architect has come up with.
Monteith says the will continue to seek input on the design, especially with students in Sioux Lookout.
The new school is expected to cost about $30-million to construct and be ready in time for the fall of 2017.
