Public School Board Supports Proposed Legislation

Bullies beware.
The Province is introducing Legislation that will hand out tougher consequences for bullying, including expulsion.
Director of Education with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board Jack McMaster says he has no problem with the tougher measures.
Over the past few years, the public school board has been moving away from student suspensions and seeking out alternative punishments.
McMaster says they new bill reflects some of the work they have been doing surrounding student discipline.
