Public School Director Reflecting Back On 2018

There was plenty to be proud of for officials with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board in 2018.

Director of Education Sean Monteith says a number of their elementary schools had some historic achievement improvements in provincial standardized testing.

Monteith says that’s the result of some different approaches to support students.

He adds in Dryden, the Board saw historical graduation rates for Indigenous students.

Monteith believes “the achievements are probably not parallel to anywhere else in the country.”
