Public Servants Return To Work

More than four thousand public servants in Northwestern Ontario will return to work today after two months on the picket lines.
Members of the Ontario Public Service Alliance walked off the job on March 13th in a dispute over pensions, wages and job security.
Over the weekend, OPSEU members province-wide voted 78 percent in favour of a deal reached last week with the Ernie Eves Government.
The new agreement will give most workers an 8.45 percent wage increase over three years, no changes to the pension plan and improvements for contract workers.
