Youth Vote Canada has launched a campaign to encourage more young people to vote in the upcoming Federal election.
Almost 3-million young Canadians under the age of 24 are eligible to vote.
However in 2011, only 38% cast a ballot.
26-year old Jacob Kearey-Morland says a lot of young people feel left out, noting the Federal government has never been interested in their concerns.
He points to issues surrounding education, the environment, social issues and the economy.
Kearey-Morland stresses youth are passionate about these issues and want to make a difference in future decisions.
