Quetico Centre

1 of the jewels of Northwestern Ontario is no more.
Quetico Centre has gone into receivership after Superiour Credit Union
& Credit Union Central refused to extend financing for the facility.
Following that, the Board of Directors resigned leaving Quetico in
limbo.
Atikokan Mayor Dennis Brown says he is not terribly surprised given
the current economy of the Northwest.

Quetico comes with 86 acres of land & all the buildings & equipment.
Receiver Dave O’Brien in hunder Bay has put a tentative value of $1.5
million on the Centre.
