Today (Friday) marks the start of Race Relations Week in Sioux Lookout.
A youth dance will be held tonight, followed by an all-ages outdoor
festival at Cedar Bay Saturday.
Anti-Racism Spokesperson Laurel Wood says a number of other activities
are planned the next 10-days including the feature exhibit ‘Everyday Light.’
The festivities also include films, art and keynote speakers all
centred around this years theme “Our Community. Our Family. Our Future.”
Race-Relations Week was established to celebrate the diversity of
Sioux Lookout.
