Environment Canada says between 50 and 200 millimetres of rain has fallen over much of the Northwest Region since Sunday.
However, Rob Kuhn, a severe weather specialist, says despite high winds and heavy rains, there are no official reports of tornadoes touching down in Sunset Country.
Kuhn says winds did gust to about 100 kilometres per hour in some cases, which downed trees and power lines, however so far tornadic activity has been ruled out.
He adds the most severe weather in the region was recorded near the international border.
