Environment Canada says the Northwest should finally get a break from rain over the next few days.
Another rain event in the region overnight dumped anywhere from 17 millimetres in Atikokan to almost 50 millimetres in Sioux Lookout.
Forecaster Alain Deguire says the current rainmaker is moving out of the area and fair skies should follow.
Deguire adds most communities in Sunset Country average about 100 millimetres of rain during the month of June.
However, some places have doubled or even tripled that amount with still 10 days to go in the month.
Rain, Rain, Rain
