On Friday, the rainbow flag will be raised at noon outside Dryden City Hall.
The ceremony is to kick-off Pride Month festivities throughout the city.
Volunteer Catherine Kiewning says people can expect a lot of fun events throughout the month, many of which are different from last year.
She says there will also be a speech outside city hall during the ceremony.
