Rainy River EQAO results good

Grade 10 students in the Rainy River District School Board have done very well on standardized literacy tests.

Ontario’s Education Quality and Accountability Office released the results today.

For the school board as a whole, 80 percent of students passed the tests – close to the provincial average of 82 percent.

Breaking down the three high schools in the district, Atikokan High had an 85 percent success rate, Rainy River High had 82 percent and Fort Frances High had 77 percent.
