A former member of the Borderland Thunder could be wearing a New York Ranger jersey in the near future.
Greg Beller was taken in the sixth round of the NHL entry draft over the weekend, 178th overall.
Beller played last season with the Lake of the Woods Bears in Baudette, then after they were eliminated from the playoffs, Beller and his brother Jeremy took in a few games with the Borderland Thunder.
Next year he still plans to play for the Green Bay Gamblers, and further his education.
