The Rainycrest Board of Management is still a functioning body despite the fact the long term care home is now being managed by
Riverside Health Care Facilities.

The Ministry of Health appointed Riverside as interim home manager recently and also brought in officials from Extendicare in an advisory role.
A lack of non-compliance issues prompted the move and new admissions to the home have been suspended.
