The Minister of Natural Resources is calling for the
illegal duties collected on Softwood Lumber to be returned
to the affected companies.
A final Nafta planel ruling was issued this week in
Canada’s favour, & US duties should never have been
imposed.

companies will have to be negotiated.
The Nafta panel ruling did not order the return of the
illegally collected duties, but does open the door for
Canadian Companies to pursue refunds through the US court
of intrenational trade.
