Ontario’s Minister of Natural Resources says the

Government will take any action they feel is necessary

against North Dakota, if the state decides to divert water

from the Lake of the Woods.

Minister David Ramsay says the government is closely

monitoring North Dakota’s plans to solve their future

water shortages.

The State predicts that by 2050 there will be water

shortages in the Red River Valley on North Dakota’s

eastern border.

They’re considering 8 options to meet future water

needs, a pipeline from Lake of the Woods to North Dakota

is one of the propositions.
