An RCMP dive team is expected to start searching for a plane which crashed into West Hawk Lake, Manitoba this afternoon.
The plane went down last night around 6:00 after hitting a power line.
Corporal Chris Ballard of the RCMP says a police dive team was already in the area at the time.
N005 Q: …the crash. (20 secs.)
Ballard says unfortunately the divers could not locate the plane before it got dark.
At this point police say they do not have the name of the deceased and don’t know who owned the plane.
West Hawk Lake is 50 kilometers west of Kenora.
