An Atikokan man has been fined nearly 600 dollars for
trapping without a licence.
30 year old Clayton Stimson was charged last January
under the fish and wildlife conservation act.
A Conservation Officer spotted three men clearing a
portage and setting Marten traps in Quetico Provincial
Park.
The C.O. checked to see if the men were licensed to trap
for the 2006-2007 season.
The Ontario Fur Managers Fderation confirmed Stimson did
not have a licence.
