Local reaction to the Federal Budget is, predictably, mixed.
Kenora MP Liberal Roger Valley says the Conservative budget is full of gimmicks that don’t address the problems in the Northwest.
The NDP Candidate for the local riding – Tania Cameron – says the budget comes up short for First Nations people here in the riding and across the Nation.
Conservative candidate Greg Rickford is more positive, saying that the budget will give area lumber companies a break on equipment costs.
