The federal budget is getting mostly negative reviews from northwestern Ontario politicians.
Kenora M.P. Roger Valley says there’s really nothing that will help out northern Ontario.
He’s particularly disappointed that there is no help for
the struggling forest industry in the region.
NDP candidate in the Kenora riding, Tania Cameron says while there are some good things in the budget, like
the child tax credit, there’s nothing to help out laid-off
forest workers.
