Reaction To Senate Appointment

The praise continues for Dryden resident Lynn Beyak, who has been appointed a senator of Canada.
Dryden Mayor Craig Nuttall says Beyak will be an excellent addition to the Senate.
Nuttall says she knows the area and the issues facing the region.
He adds it shows that Prime Minister Harper is concerned about northwestern Ontario.
Nuttall says he knows Beyak quite well and hopes to speak with her on the issues facing the city.
Her son, Nick Beyak says it’s hard to put into words how he feels about his mom’s senate appointment.
He says she deserves the honour.
Lynn Beyak is a small business owner, with experience in real estate, insurance and tourisim.
Beyak is the first Senator to respresent the Kenora Rainy River districts since 1985.
