Another scam to be aware of.
A Dryden resident contacted the CKDR Newsroom Monday morning to report a scam from someone claiming to be from Readers Digest.
The fraudster indicated that the individual has won a $4-million prize and provides a file number in order to collect.
The caller also instructs the potential victim to send anywhere between $700 to $1,500 to complete the process.
Police remind the public that if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
