Rebate Cheques for Local Municipalities

Some good news for cash-strapped municipalities.
The Kenora District Services Board says it will be sending out rebate cheques later this spring.
KDSB Chair Phil Vinet says once their internal audit is completed, about $550,000 is expected to be returned to local communities.
Vinet says the rebates are the result of the reconciliation of programs they provide, such as Ontario Works.
