The month of May was a cool one across Northwestern Ontario.
Environment Canada says the average temperature in the Dryden area
was 9.4 last month, 2-degrees below normal.
Forecaster Sandy Radecki says it was also a record breaking May in
terms of precipitation.
n038 runs: 21 sec. out…2-days.
Radecki notes the cool-damp conditions will likely shorten the growing
season by a bit.
