The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has cleared another labour
hurdle by reaching a tentative contract with Elementary teachers.
Chief Financial Officer Dean Carrie says a lot of effort went into
achieving a fair deal.

Trustees are expected to ratify the agreement on June 14th.
Next up for the Board, a contract for secondary teachers, educational
assistants and occasional teachers.
Meetings with all three are planned for this month.
