Board Reacts to Contract

With a tentative contract in place with Elementary teachers, the
Keewatin-Patricia District School Board can now turn its attention on
Secondary teachers.
Both sides are expected to sit down June 6th and 7th, well after a
Provincial deadline.
Chief Financial Officer Dean Carrie says he’s hoping the Province cuts
them some slack.

n041 runs: 21 sec. out…have available.

At stake is thousands of dollars in funding.
The Board also plans to meet this month with educational assistants and
occassional teachers.
