It comes as little surprise.
The Borderland Thunder have confirmed they will not be in the Superior
International Junior Hockey League this coming season.
General Manager Brent Tookenay says they couldn’t find the necessary
funding to continue and notes the League has to shoulder some of the blame.
Tookenay says they are still eyeing a spot in the Manitoba Junior
Hockey League
The Dryden Ice Dogs will be on the ice next season.
The coaching staff continues to recruit players and a season ticket
drive is expected to start in the coming days.
