It came down to the wire, but the Keewatin-Patricia District School
Board has reached a tentative agreement with its Elementary Teachers.
Both sides met a June 1st Provincial deadline by agreeing on a 4-year
contract.
Peter Andrusco is the local President of the Elementary Teachers
Federation of Ontario and says they are recommending members accept the
deal.

Teacher meetings will take place in Dryden, Red Lake and Kenora
starting Thursday and the contract is expected to be ratified by instructors
on June 7th.
